How to Make An Easy Valentine's Door Sign!

Friday, February 1, 2013

Today's "Love" wall decor was made using the Lovestruck Cricut and Sweethearts Cricut cartridges. These images are also on the Spring Fever Holiday Cricut cartridge.
I cut the heart background at 10" two times using white chipboard.  I did this so that my ribbon wouldn't show on the back - more on that below.
I cut the "Love" from the Cricut Sweethearts cartridge two times - once in red, once in brown at 5".  I popdotted that onto the front.
To mount the ribbon, put it in between the two back sections using tape and stapler and then glued them together.  Viola!  All done!!

Have you made any Valentine's decor?

Hi Joan, You are always such a sweetie! Thank you so much! Here's the funny thing: I made this more than a year ago, created the post, decided to wait until around Valentine's Day to post it, forgot about it and then found the post again this year. DOH! Hugs, Joy

Hi Chelle,

There are some beautiful things on Paper Lace - I bet you can make something fantastic! Also, if you do a search in the Cricut Craft Room or on mycutsearch.com for what you are looking for, I bet there are some hidden goodies on cartridges that you already have. I find all kinds of things that way. Always a fun surprise!

Hugs, Joy

I like this, but for some reason, the cart you used it from isn't visible (there's just a blank space).
