I cut this super cute stocking at 5" from the Cricut Winter Frolics Shapes Cartridge
I used various glittery papers from Reminisce and DCWV. My background was run through the Cuttlebug with a new Cuttlebug Christmas set (under embossing folders, sets on the link). The embossing folders in the set are shown below:
I used a stamp from the Close to My Heart December 25 set which you can get on Melanie's site HERE.
Card Recipe:
1) Fold red cardstock 4-1/4" x 11" paper in half to form 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card.
2) Adhere piece of 4" x 5-1/4" white cardstock to inside.
3) Run piece of 4" x 5-1/4" white cardstock through Cuttlebug with embossing folder. Adhere to front of card.
4) Cut stocking from Cricut Winter Frolics Shapes Cartridge
5) Stamp "Do Not Open" onto white cardstock. Trim and mount onto green paper. Adhere to front.
6) Attach red bow to stocking.
One lucky person will win BOTH the Winter Frolic Cartridge shown above AND the My Creative Time Stamp sets shown below!
1) My Creative Time All Around Goodies Stamp Set:
2) My Creative Time Just Tags Set which contains coordinating layering dies!
3) Just For You Stamp Set with coordinates with the tag set above!
4) Beary Special Thoughts Stamp Set:
How can you win?

We usually have a Christmas Eve service at church and Lunch on Christmas Day. In the past we had a deli tray and fixed great sandwiches with lots of little desserts. With grandchildren they like to be at home to play with gifts from Santa
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that I haven't seen this site until now, so many GREAT ideas. I love the cartridge above - so cute! I just bought a Cricut so I'm looking for cute projects to make.
ReplyDeleteOops! I forgot to add that we will probably be having the usual ham, cranberries, sweet potatoes... but maybe I'll get lucky and my father-in-law might make his super good smoked salmon with dill sauce for a little snacky-snack.
ReplyDeleteWow! You already have so many comments on this one and it doesn't surprise me! Beautiful card and I have to admit, the cart is one that offers so much in one cart! Due to a layoff in October my Christmas gifts this year will be more made than bought and, that's ok! I need this cart fast to get my cards going because I need to make those as well. Great job!

Well, I got so excited about the cart, I forgot about the dinner part. I'd love to do the order in dinner but my girls would cry if we didn't have traditional Christmas dinner so, I'll be cooking and they'll be bringing sides - a family event.

OMG what an awesome give away! All our Christmas plans have now changed and we are no longer certain what is happening. We were going to have the tradition Christmas feast with Turkey, ham, etc. I think now, we may see if there are any restaurants besides IHOP that are open or go simple like Boston Market! I have been a follower for quite some time. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! We will be having Prime Rib Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card! We usually have a Stouffer's Lasagna for Christmas dinner. Easy and stress free! I cook a big dinner for TG and New Years so this gives me a break.

Love this cartridge (and the stamps). I could see it fast becoming a holiday favorite. We have a tradition on Christmas Eve we Fondue. We get the china out and make a whole evening of it. Our five kids have enjoyed many years of this and the oldest and his wife come back every year to join in with us. Christmas morning is a brunch with egg dishes and cinnamon rolls and other delights...So, to be honest I take Dinner off for the night and everyone is on their own...lol
