Cheerful Christmas Bag with Cricut Paper Trimmings Cartridge

This gift bag was made using the new Cricut Paper Trimmings cartridge (a Cricut Circle exclusive) but the overall design could be used on a card also and with different ornaments.  I thought these ornaments were particularly beautiful, though.
I used a new Christmas embossing folder from Provocraft, due in stores soon.  I love the funky style of it.  The glitter bag was from Michaels in the dollar section.
"Joy to the World" was made using the Gypsy and welding letters from the Don Juan cartridge together.
Here are some quick instructions:

  1. Cut white cardstock to 6-3/4” x 4-1/4” and attach to front of glitter bag using brads.  This will be base of decoration.
  2. Cut white cardstock to 7” x 4-1/2” and run through Cuttlebug using the Ornament folder. Adhere to green glitter cardstock cut at 7-1/4” x 4-3/4”.  Mount onto bag on white section using dry adhesive.
  3. Using Gypsy, weld “Joy to the World” letters as shown - letters at 1”.  Cut out using green glitter cardstock.
  4. Cut ornaments out and glue together at sizing shown above.  Add ribbon bows to tops of ornaments.
  5. Adhere word art and ornaments to front of bag as shown using wet adhesive and glue dots.
Okie and Nadia from my design team have made some super cute items with the Cricut Traveler cartridge!  Take a quick peek below:

Nadia made an amazing plaque!  I am just giving you a sneak peek of her fabulous girl on the bicycle but there is even more to this project.  I love her step by step instructions.  Wait until you see how this cute girl was made!  Nadia always comes up with the most brilliant ways to alter the Cricut cuts - she knows how to rock some different cuts to morph them into a totally different cut. You can see the whole project and more at Nadia's blog, With Glittering Eyes.
Shirley (or Okieladybug to the Cricut Message board crowd) made a super clever and creative photo tray about the Cricut Cruise she went on.  I had the pleasure of being on this cruise with her and a certain hottie husband made it into one of her photos - he's such a cutie, if I say so myself..LOL!  But, I digress.  The photo tray has all kinds of cute Cricut cuts and what not in each section - there's so much to see!  You must check it out HERE at Shirley's blog!

Finally, for those of you with a smartphone and a QR Code Reader, you can scan in the QR code below to save this website for quick and easy future reference!  These QR codes are popping up all over the place and are really fun to use as phone bookmarks. I love it when I find techno-gadgets like this...LOL!

My question about QR Code Reader and other apps. Why do we always have to give full rights to our calendar, address' etc? When will we be able to opt. out of private areas?
