I did a fun layout with the new
Cricut Seasonal Cartridge Chic & Scary
seasonal cartridge using DCWV Halloween paper.
There are six cuts on the layout above: 2 spiderwebs (6" and 2"), one spider(1-1/2"), Scary(2-1/4"), bat and bird (both 2").
I double layered the bird above, shadowing it with orange glitter paper.
I did the same with the bat. Rhinestones looked much better in person. Journaling tag was made using Stampin Up! punches.
"Scary" is actually tripled layered; black on the bottom, then orange, then green. With these one layer cartridges, it helps to "double layer" them and offset the second layer to create a faux shadow.
Sorry for the wonky photos....my regular camera broke (darn it!) and iPhone didn't take the best photos...

What a great layout, Joy! I love you double and triple layered your cuts. It really makes them pop!
Although I like your new blog design, I can't find "you" on it unless I head over to the "about" link. As I popped over here this morning, I was trying to remember who redid their blog. I had to search to find out it was yours... Maybe you need a photo of you in a circle in that space in the top right of your banner?

I love this new TC cart! actually though I don't own any of them I am a big fan of the carts she is designing for PC. I hope to own some of them in the near future. I love how you offset the images to create more dimension, it really makes them pop.
I have this halloween paper from DCWV and love it.
So cute!!! Looks like a really fun cart for memory books and such. I just love everyone of Teresa Collin's carts so far and her paper lines are fantastic as well. Love your tripple layering.
