Today's Provocraft Hello Thursday release is the new Teresa Collins Chic 'n Scary seasonal cartridge.
I had seen this pillow (retails for $44) on Home Accents Today and got an inspiration to make a similar pillow using iron on flocking material and a pillow and velvet pillowcase from Ikea. My total cost was $14 (pillow, case and iron on flocking material). You could probably do it even less expensively if you used regular fabric and some heat 'n bond.
Yesterday, in the new Stampin Up! mini catalog, I saw kraft bags made with a spider cut out and thought, "Hey, I've got a cut like that on the new Chic and Scary cartridge..." so I decided to make these bags. I added in the corner web, also from the cartridge. These make such quick and easy treat bags for a Halloween party. They went together very quickly!

This is a fabulous cartridge. I love that all of cuts on this cartridge are unique and can be used on so many different projects. And I love your pillow, it is such a great "do-it-yourself". I have never cut fabric in my cricut. The gift bags are also very cute, I have been wanting to make some gift bags to have on hand for birthdays. this cartridge is a must have, I just love it!

I think the images on the new cart rock. Though I am biased b/c I LOVE Halloween. My kids will be in their teens and I'll still make them dress up (lol!). I especially like the banner on it. How fast and fun to decorate and put up.

This is definately a WOW factor cartridge. I love the Halloween time of year although we do not traditionally celebrate this in Australia. I have very few trick or treaters at my door on Halloween due to my location so I like to do some special treats for the neighborhood kids. This will be a great cartridge to decorate the bags filled with goodies
