Best Girl Cricut Cartridge of 2010

For this category, I was looking for the cartridge that has a font or great word art, girly images and any extra fun items that are particularly girly.

Here are the contenders for the category of Best Girl Cricut Cartridge of 2010:

1) Cricut Rock Princess Cartridge:  Funky girl meets rock star in this tween girl cartridge full of word art, fun images, and two fonts (heart and skull).

2) Cricut Once Upon A Princess Cartridge:  I do love this cartridge.  The layered word art is amazing and the tag section is great for making journaling boxes, decorative elements, etc.

3) Cricut Slumber Party Lite Cartridge:  This is such a cute, quick and easy cartridge to use.  Only a few layers and all of them backed by a fixed shape.  Lots of things that would be perfect for a girls' slumber party!

Let's hear a drum roll, please.....the winner of the Best Girl Cricut Cartridge is the......

I chose Once Upon A Princess because of the sheer volume of different items it has!  Here are some of the things this cartridge has:

- Paper Princess Dolls plus many other layered images
- 2 Fonts
- A whole layered Tag Feature key (100 images)
- 50 layered word art images
- a 3-D castle
- 2 party invitations with envelopes
- a wand and two crowns for the kids to wear/play with
- 3 bags

What's your favorite girly cartridge from 2010?  Can't wait to hear!

  3. My favorite girly cartridge is "Tie the Knot" - I know it's not on your list, but I'm a girl who just got engaged and that cartridge is alllll I play with right now. It's soooo cute for the "grown-up" girls who've dreamed of thier fairy tale wedding!

  10. Yeah, the girl carts are hard. I don't have girls so I can't say I have used any of them. But I am going to get Sugar and Spice to make into boy things!

  15. I agree with you. Once Upon A Princess has it all and lots of it. It is another that I haven't purchased yet but plan to. I have lots of little girl pages to scrap. She is 11 now and it still works for her some of the time although I see Rock Princess in my future as well.
    Thanks,

  17. I have all three, and love them, but I think I am tied between Forever Young and Rock Princess, as my favorite. I have grown daughters and lots of diva girlfriends, so these two have been great for cards.

  20. I'm finding this information so helpful. I agree with all your choices. I've often wondered about certain carts, if it is worth the money. I'm now looking for Give a Hoot and Happy Hauntings to purchase. I bought Oct.31 but I was disappointed.I wouldn't have bought it if I saw your recommendations. I faithfully read your blog.

  21. Wow, who knew that Once Upon A Princess had that much to offer. I thought it was just images. Guess I need to take a look at some of these carts with my gypsy. Excellent choice!

  22. I bought Forever Young for my "Girlie" cartridge. I don't need a cartridge for "little" girls anymore so more the young lady type was what I was looking for.

  23. I only have grandsons so I don't get to play with little girl images much. All these cartridges make me want a grnaddaughter but I don't think my daughter and son-in-law agree.

  24. Unfortunately, I do not have any little girls, but if I did, I would choose this one. I have a grown daughter and daughter-in-law and use the Forever Young Cart. to make most of their cards. Especially love the purses to hide little gifts inside. Sandra
