Quick Video from the Club Scrap Retreat
(me in my improvised apron)
Hi! I have just spent the past 3 days at the Club Scrap Retreat in Osh Kosh, Wisconsin and let me tell you, it has been fabulous!! We have made the most incredible projects over the past few days - stuff I have NEVER seen before anywhere! I can't wait to be able to show you all my projects because they are just so cool! But, I have to wait a few more days because there is a whole group of people who are doing the retreat by mail. Huh? What does that mean, you ask? Well, for those who couldn't go to the retreat, Club Scrap offered a "Retreat in a Box" kit, that not only includes all the projects, but also all the extra goodies we have gotten at the Retreat. Not only that, these "Retreat in a Box" people will get videos showing how to do the different projects as well as some other online events. Should be incredible, to say the least!! But, alas, they don't have their boxes yet, so in order to keep the projects secret, it will be a few more days until I can post all the gorgeous things I made.
For just a taste of the event, I have made a video with a couple of highlights. One really fun thing every retreat has is a champagne shopping trip at the Club Scrap Warehouse. It is always a ton of fun and some great deals can be had there. Not only that, it's so cool to see the Club Scrap headquarters and feel all the luscious papers and goodies. The best part also is that they have a special "IIB" line which stands for "Ignorance is Bliss" whereby you just leave your bags and they charge your card on file and ship directly to your house (for free!). I love the "IIB" line!
Anyway, I'm just about to leave for the farewell brunch so I'll leave you with this video. More wonderful Club Scrap goodness to see in a few days! And, stay tuned because I have some great blog candy to give away coming up that will be perfect for all your Halloween projects...
