I had such a fun time making this patriotic hat card with the (#affiliate ad link) Photo Booth Props Cricut cartridge!
Normally, you would cut this hat much larger but I went with 3" as the height so I could use it on a card front.
I just played around with the Firework Fun stamp set to create the background and it came together in a flash.
Check out the video below to see how to make this card:

Happy New Year! And a NEW catalog!
Happy New Year! And a belated Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
It has been a crazy time at casa Tracey the last few weeks - with both good and bad things occurring at a ridiculous rate (great Christmas presents, food, family and an engagement for my nephew plus ruptured eardrum for me, hospital stay for pneumonia, and a tornado threat). It's like One Life to Live over here.
But, I am back with a new project for the New Year!
I had a love/hate relationship with the Mad Men show since sometimes it was over the top in its outrageousness. But, I loved the Don Draper outline they always showed.
So, when I saw this tuxedo man on the Cricut Suburbia cartridge, I knew I had my Mad Men look!
From the Suburbia cartridge, Tuxedo Man was cut at 3-3/4".
From the Photo Props cartridge, Happy New Year was cut at 2".
Card front in black is 5" x 5", white piece is 4-7/8" x 4-7/8" and the grey patterned paper is 4-1/2" x 4-1/2".

In other super happy news, Close to My Heart has put out a new mini catalog that goes live TODAY!
Click HERE to see all the new products - there are some super cute things in there including dies to match stamp sets (a first!).
More is to come later....
