My tip is this: To prolong the use of my mats I wash them off with soap and water when they get yucky. Most of the mats retain their sticky stuff. I use a thin coat of half water and half Aleene's tacky glue if it's not sticky enough or after the second wash. I have a lot of blades change my blades around repeatedly. I don't throw them away. It made using my cricut so much more fun! I also love putting all different papers on one 12x12 sheet so i don't have to change for each color. Both of these look wonderful. My best tip is...at the end of the day and you are ready to put it all away, squirt a little dish soap on your mat, scrub it good with a plastic dish scrubber, rinse it all off well and put it in your dish drainer to dry.
