How to Document Your Covid 19 Story

This past weekend, Stacy Julian, founder of Simple Scrapbooks and Big Picture Classes, taught a live, free class about documenting your Covid-19 story.

We are in an unimaginable time. Back in January it was impossible to imagine that in March the whole world would be shut down and we'd be "sheltering in place".  This is history! In the future, our ancestors will want to know what it was like.

Encourage your kids/grandkids to do this too. They've had a huge shift in their lives with online learning.

NOTE: there are freebies at the end of this post so be sure and keep scrolling...

Below is a video class Stacy Julian did for Close to My Heart's National Scrapbooking Day celebration. You can follow along and make your own album:

Here are the Story Starter by Stacy products she used to make her Covid-19 album (it's a 4" x 4"):

And some additional sets that could be fun to use:

Here are 3 free SVG files to decorate your albums and pages: Scroll to the bottom of the page to find these.
Please note that I used the computer version of Design Space since it is easiest to upload that way. Once you have them in your account though, they are there to be seen on your mobile device app too!
The video also covers way to find different images that you are looking for since Cricut rearranged and renamed some things in their last update.

The image above shows Free SVGs that are available with a minimum $10 donation to Operation Smile only from May 2nd-8th.
To donate, simply go to www.joytracey.ctmh.com like you are placing an order. In the shopping cart there is a place that says "Operation Smile Donation". Add it there.
The SVG's will automatically be added to your CTMH account after May 8. I’ll have a video on how to find those svgs in your CTMH account and how to add them to design space after May 8.

This donation goes straight to Operation Smile, which fixes cleft palettes for children in impoverished areas. It only takes $237 to do the surgery and fix one smile!
