Which Cricut Explore Machine Should I Buy?

I wanted to make a quick video for you guys showing you the differences between the Cricut Explore Air, the regular/original Cricut Explore and the Cricut Explore One.

That way, you can make the right choice this holiday season as you consider which machine to get!

The video also explains why you would want certain features. If you can't see the video click HERE.

Below is also a chart showing those differences between various machines:

  1. I was hesitant to buy a new Cricut but am so glad I bought the Cricut Explore Air. I was hesitant to subscribe to the Design Space but am so glad and subscribed for 1 yr and will definitely renew. My suggestions to Cricut to improve the Design Space would be to add search capability to saved files and add a better search to find projects/items overall.

  2. Thank you for the chart. I have been wondering about the differences. I have a wireless bluetooth adapter from my Expression 2 machine. Is it the same one that works with the Explore machines?

    1. That is NOT the same wireless adaptor. You would have to buy the one for the Explore specifically. Hugs, Joy

  3. Joy, in your video you state that the Explore is still available, but is still better than the Explore One. Why, if it is better, is the only deals out there for the Explore Air and the Explore One? Even cricut.com is only offering package deals for the Air and One. Is there something about this machine I should be aware of? I am not ready to go wireless, but I want the better of the other two machines. Thanks

    1. The Explore was the first machine put out and the Air and the One are the newer ones so they are stressing those more. It may be that they are trying to go to only 2 levels of machines (higher priced (Air) and lower priced (One)). The Explore has the 2 heads while the One only has one head. This means if you want to score or write with the One, you have to manually put in the adaptor and those implements. You don't have to do that with the regular Explore. If I had to do it again, I would get the Air. I use my iPad app constantly and love to cut from it. Hugs, Joy
