You're Egg-Strordinary Easter Cricut Card

Today's Easter card was so fun to put together!  I have been dying to cut out this bunny from the Cricut Easter Magic digital cartridge - isn't he cute?  And the digital banner cartridge makes such cute looking banners really quickly!  It was very easy to size the banner and get it stamped correctly using the Cricut Craft Room (click HERE for more info on Cricut Craft Room, Provo Craft's free online design tool).
Cricut Easter Magic and Banners are both digital cartridges, retail for $9.99 and can be purchased HERE.  They can be used with the Cricut Craft Room or the Gypsy.

For the base of the card, I used the Cricut Birthday Bash cartridge.  It is my go to cartridge for card bases - very versatile!  It also has loads of cute word art and animals.

For the oval shapes (regular and scalloped), I used the Cricut Craft Room Basics, free on the Craft Room.  I laid out all my shapes to make sure they were proportioned correctly and then cut them.  Designing this way saves a lot of time and paper waste - also I can do it while I am watching a movie!  Bonus!

Check out the Close to My Heart March stamp of the month above!  Super cute and just $5 after a $50+ purchase at joytracey.ctmh.com!

  14. I noticed that with this cute card you used the CCR. Do you still really like your explore and design space?? Im thinking of getting one and wondering if it is worth it. I have my other cricuts and use CCR with them. Had to return my mini since it kept crashing with my Mac. but the others seem to work. What do you think?
