[Video]Make a 5 Minute Elegant Artbooking Christmas Card!

Today's card, made using the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge (see more about that below), really just took five minutes to make!  How great is that!?

I love a fast project, don't you?

Here are the cuts and sizes from the Artbooking cartridge:

I cut the ornament overlay, shown above, two times - once in green and once in red.  I did use the Cricut Craft Room to create the red background so that the ornaments were filled in with red.  To see how to fill in different parts of an overlay using the Craft Room, you can watch my video HERE.

If you wanted to piece this by hand, it would be very easy - just cut it out once in green and once in red. Keep the negative pieces and you can actually make two cards - one with a green front, as shown here and one with a red front.  Fill in the ornaments with the opposing colors pieces.
I was impressed with how well this "joy" cut out considering it has some narrow parts!
Paper was by Anna Griffin and solid white glitter paper was from Michaels.  This card fits in a standard sized business envelope.

  22. Hi Joy
Just love all your videos I have been putting them in my Favortes to save them so when I get my cricut cartridge I can follow some of your work. I would live to win the cricut cartridge Baby steps so I can start scrapbooking my Grandkids pictures. I know I said this before but I don't remember the ages my girls were in some of the pictures. So I don't want the my girls to forget the pictures they take of their children.
