Make A Swoosh Basketball Gift Bag!

Day two of our manly-man week of projects is this basketball gift bag.

I love to get these kraft gift bags and dress them up with Cricut cuts.  You can personalized a gift bag pretty quickly with the Cricut.

I used the Cricut Sports Mania cartridge and cut the basketball at 6" and the Swoosh word art at 3".
I made some of the framed blue layers myself in the Cricut Craft Room (free online design program with more info HERE).
Using the Bo Bunny Double Dot paper gave the basketball some texture.  A white Signo Uniball pen added faux stitching.
And now for our giveaway!

  1. I don't use Washi tape because, honestly, I'm afraid I will start collecting it all like ribbon, stickles, embossing folders, etc. I think the designs are great and I am sure in some cases, it's great to use it for borders, etc.

  2. I try and use Washi here and there where the colors and patterns I currently have fit.

  3. Beautiful project - I never tried the Washi tape YET!!!

  4. I don't use washi tape yet. I am a horder who's hubby is in the military, which means our household weight has to be under a certain amount (not much) when we move or we pay crazy fees. I think I would love to have it and I would be a crazy collector of every style and color otherwise and I would learn to use it better from amazing people such as yourself.

  16. I have a few rolls of washi tape. Love the fact that it's easily removable, 'cause I'm an indecisive scrapper. Have a hard time "matching" other colors with it because it's transparent, though. Maybe the webinar will solve that for me. Thanks!

  24. Cute bag. I own some washi but honestly haven't really used it. Used a couple lil pieces to decorate a PL card once but that was it. I'm going to take that class to try to inspire myself on using it

  25. I put it on my pens for work, now everyone at I work knows what pens are mine. They now get returned to me if I leave one laying around. Sounds silly I know, but when you have a favorite pen you do what you can to keep others from taking it.

  96. Yes I too LUV this tape, but more so, I've been putting the tape on wwll paper that the tape DOES NOT stick to it, the paper has a high gloss, like the old time photos were printed on...Well I use mostly the PLAIN TAPE, (it'smokaynon design tape, but it's way too bust for my taste) any hoo, Once I've line the paper w/the tape, I RUN it w/ my A.G. EMBOSSING FOLDERS-it adds a bit of EXTRA-POP to tapes texture, and it also "looks Great on well picture a white embossed card w/ligtht pastels color embossed wasi tape...yumm yummy looking, esp when i then make the object a cut-out as a focal point! sure wish I knew "how-2" load-up a picture of one of my cards to show you how some have turned-out..not bad if I do say so myself...Thanks again for the chance to WIN another one of Your FABULOUS GIFTS- Your BLOG sure has become a SUCESS...YEA
