How to Make A Cowboy Birthday Gift Bag!

This cute Western Cowboy gift bag came together in a jiffy with the Cricut Teddy Bear Parade and County Fair cartridges at hand.
My mom needed a bag for a baby gift of overalls with horseshoes on them so we went with the whole cowboy motif.  You can get a big package of gift bags at Michaels or Joanns with a coupon for under $5.  These are sized at 8" x 10" approximately.
Here are the sizes:

County Fair Cricut Cartridge - cactus - 6"
Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Cartridge- Lil Cowpoke - 3"
Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Cartridge- Cowboy Teddy Bear - 4-3/4"
Cricut Plantin Schoolbook - Stars - 1-1/2"

A little white pen adds the perfect amount of detail to the bear, stars and "lil cowpoke" and takes two seconds to do.  I use the white Sanford Uni-Ball Gel Impact Pen .

Do you ever make gift bags?

  2. That is just an adorable gift bag. I also love to decorate the Kraft bags that I get at Hobby Lobby. Yours is way cuter than mine and gave me inspiration for my next attempt!
