Explore Travel Journal with Cricut Traveler Cartridge

I love all the graphic "travel" related art on the new Creative Memories Cricut Traveler cartridge!  Between the "city" look and the "beachy" look, it covers a lot of ground!  Take a look:

I had this travel journal I had purchased in a kit on QVC back in the day and never decorated.  I found I didn't really like the embellishments that came with it.  Enter the Creative Memories Cricut Traveler cartridge.  I liked how fun and universal (no pun intended) these images would be for whatever trip I decided to use this for.
I cut the "explore" at 1-3/4".  It has three layers and as long as you cut the brown layer on a slow speed, you should have no problems.  I used the Creative Memories precision point glue pen like the one shown below to glue to brown layer onto the orange layer.  CM has such outstanding tools and albums.  I had first heard about this pen from other Cricut users and found that it rocks!  You can get your HERE.

I cut the "world with magnifying glass" at 4-1/4" - it layered up nice and easily.

This would be such a fun project to make with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts for their excursions and camping trips. There are 3 layers to everything and it goes together pretty easily.
Check out some of the images on the cartridge below:
You can get your Creative Memories Cricut Traveler cartridge:  HERE! It is only available through a consultant.

Today, Nadia, one of my design team members, has a fantastic, unbelievable card posted made with the Traveler cartridge!  Here's a snippet and you can check out all the details at her blog, With Glittering Eyes.  Check out that 3-D Volkswagen!  So CUTE!

And in case you missed it, check out Okieladybug's "Swim Like A Fish" layout HERE!  I love all the details she put into the layout - check out those bubbles - how clever!!
