Hello Thursday - December Cricut Cartridge Release!

Here are the 9 new Cricut Cartridges for December Hello Thursday!

PLUS 3 Spring Mini Cricut Cartridges:

In celebration of Hello Thursday, I have a few giveaways!

1) Old West Cricut Cartridge:

2) Cricut Lite Varsity Cartridge -

How can you win?

1) Leave a comment telling me your favorite cartridge of the release in the section below!  Be sure and leave an identifying name (joywholovescats, for example) so it's easy to identify you!

2) Follow me or subscribe to this blog!

Here are the first batch of projects:

Cricut Best of Pixar:

Ever since I saw this Dorie from "Finding Nemo" and the matching word art ("Just Keep Swimming") from the Cricut Four Legged Friends Lite Cartridge, I knew I had to make a card with the saying.  I love her cheerful face.  Surprisingly, this was not too bad to cut - only thing is some of the fins are skinny.  I used an A2 card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") and cut Dorie at 3" and "Just Keep Swimming" at 1-1/2". Paper by DCWV glitter cardstock.

Cricut Life's A Party Cartridge:

Cut this cute shaped card at 4" and the "BABY" from Nate's ABCs at 1". Paper by K & Company.

Cricut Nate's ABCs Cartridge:

I cut the owl on a branch at 3-1/4" and it was pretty easy!  Card is 5" x 5" square. (Despite all the baby cards, just an FYI, I'm not having one....LOL!).  Paper by My Minds Eye and Core'dinations.

Cricut Spring Holiday Cards Cartridge:

These were so easy and quick to cut!  LOVE THAT!  The top project is actually a little treat bag and it was cut at 4-1/2".  The layered card on the front was also cut at 4-1/2".  Second card was cut a bit bigger at 5-1/4".  I think this is the best value of the release.  Paper by Stampin Up! and American Crafts.

Cricut Groovy Times Cartridge:

This 5" x 5" card was the perfect size to fit the word art and funky disco shoes.  I also used a top note type cut from the Cricut Songbird.  This retro groovy cartridge, with accompanying full feature key of layered word art, is unlike anything Provocraft has ever released. Paper by DCWV.

There are even more projects to see so check out the link below:

Melanie - Courtney Lane Designs

Check back later for even more previews!  I will be showing the new cartridges all through the weekend!

  128. I belong to a Home School group. Coming up with craft ideas for the seasons and holidays for our kids as art projects is my responsibility. I have seen a lot of negative comments about Spring Holiday Cards cartridge, but our group loves it! This cartridge made it easy for even our youngest kids to make beautiful cards for their families. We even made a bunch of Valentine's cards for a local nursing home... Plan on doing the same for Easter. The cut out fronts made a great jumping off point for our imaginations. We also made treat boxes and our own envelopes...great fun was had by all!
