Hello Thursday! Can you believe it's finally here??
The new October Cricut cartridges are:
Cricut Wrap It Up Cartridge - This is like Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Part II with even more goodies on it! There are gorgeous word art, tags, cards, bags that all match!
Cricut Paper Lace Cartridge - This cartridge has gorgeous word art and two different layers of paper lace that can be cut with matching layers. It is really a fabulous cartridge - one of my favorites of the release!
Cricut Sesame Street Seasons Cartridge - Not only does it have all the good Sesame Street characters, there is a font, word art, and a whole feature key full of super cute images! This would be a great one for teachers!
Cricut Ornamental Iron Cartridge - This would be great to cut in vinyl or even as a card front. Comes with two fonts!
Cricut Quarter Note Cartridge - Finally, a cartridge dedicated to music lovers! 3 fonts and great word art on this cartridge!
Cricut Wrap It Up Cartridge:
Check out this layered poinsettia - how gorgeous is this!!??!! I love this cut!
And look below at the matching pillow box where I layered the poinsettia again. There is also a poinsettia tag to go with it. Paper by SEI and Core'dinations.
Cricut PaperLace Cartridge:
This cartridge is so versatile for both cards and layers, as you can cut these at any size! The card below shows the word art "Just Because" (like the Will and Grace font!), the layered background and the medallion cut. This cartridge has all kinds of matching layers and such. Be sure and check out the handbook so you can see all the wonderful lace pieces. Paper by K & Co. and Core'dinations.
Cricut Sesame Street Seasons Cartridge:
Can you believe this cute kite is on Sesame Street Seasons? There are tons of cute images on this cartridge! Paper by Cosmo Cricket and Core'dinations.
Cricut Ornamental Iron Cartridge:
This cartridge has loads of ornamental outline shapes, all broken into layers so you could use various pieces and parts. This card came together super quickly. Here's a technique tip I learned from Diane at Capadia Designs: to cut fancy cuts like this, use lower pressure and speed, and then multi-cut. Also use a new mat where the sticky is fresh. I followed her advice and this cut like a dream and lifted off the mat so easily! Thanks, Diane! Paper by Core'dinations.
Cricut Quarter Note Cartridge:
This cartridge is perfect for the music lovers out there! It's got three fonts - one elegant, two note shaped and elegant word art. It's got all kinds of musical instruments with swirls on them! Below, the card has both the treble clef shape and the word art "music soothes the soul". This is great for cardmakers and scrapbookers alike. Paper by Core'dinations, Club Scrap, October Afternoon and Hobby Lobby.
