I made this 4" x 9" card using K & Co. paper and the new Cricut Lite Botanicals cartridge!
As soon as I saw this birdhouse, I knew it would be perfect for a long card that fits in a standard business envelope!
I cut the birdhouse at 5-1/2" (base and shadow) and then mounted it on a framed section. I used my white Signo pen to add some contour lines to the leaves. These had been cut out on the Cricut, but there was no way to see them. Another idea is to use one of those gel pen holders and draw the birdhouse first and then cut it out.
I stamped a quick sentiment "Just Because" from Papertrey Ink along the side so as not to distract from the birdhouse. I finished everything off with a bow and ribbon from Papertrey Ink.
This was a quick, yet elegant card, suitable for everyday!
