Ways to Keep Track of your Cricut Cartridges

Amanda aka AMKScrap on the Cricut message board has created some cute lists to keep track of the carts you have and the carts you want. She has broken them down into fonts, shapes, licensed carts, solutions carts and classmates carts. Click HERE to go out to her blog and download some for yourself! Be sure and leave a nice comment for all her hard work! ;-)

  1. I keep a list of all cartridges out and that has been added to the coming out list in the memo area of both my phone & iPod. Each cartridge I own is listed one way & each cartridge I desire is starred (***) behind. When I'm ready to buy a new cartridge all I have to do is unstar it when it is in my possesion. This has been very helpful. It has saved me several times from purchasing duplicates and is very handy because my phone and/iPod is always with me. I check often for upcoming cartridges and keep my list updated.

  2. is there anywhere that has a list of items on cartridges, so if I wanted to find something: example a seashell, it would list what cartridge (s)it is found on?

  3. Anonymous, if you have the Cricut Design Studio software there is a feature in the drop down menu that allows you to do this.

Under the purple title that says Cricut Cartridge Library, click the drop down menu & select keywords.

From there you can type in seashell and it tells you which cartridges they are on.

    Hope that helps!

  4. I alphabetize the names of ALL cartridges. I store them alphabetically in photo storage boxes. I discovered that Cricut boxes are the exact same size as a VHS tape. I store old home movies on VHS in photo storage boxes. So....the logical conclusion was to store my Cricut boxes in photo storage boxes. Wha-La!!

  5. Not only have I been using photo storage boxes since I starting scrapbooking 2 years ago to hold my Cricut carts, but I also keep a notebook with a color printout of all my carts in sections by font or dies. I have a list of carts I own listed alphabetically and another list broken down by carts in each photo box. The photo boxes are numbered to keep it easy. Sounds complicated, but it makes it easy to find the design I want and the cart on which the cut is located.

  6. For the person who wants a list of all the items on cricut cartridges...Go to yahoo groups, and join the group, CricutCeatSheet. The lady has compiled a list that is great. It lists every item on every cartridge that has been produced, and she lists on which cartride you can find it...It is truly a life saver, when you know you have a certain design, but can't remember where it is...All the designs are listed in alphabetical order..
