More Cricut Storage Solutions

While at the crop at the Scrap Shack in Frisco, I got to see two new Cricut storage solutions! Both ideas were brand new to me and I hadn't seen them anywhere on the net so I asked Tammy and Miriam if I could post these ideas and they agreed! Those girls are the greatest!

Above is the custom created Cricut cartridge storage which comes with the new red & black Crop In Style binder, ALL the product info sheets blown up and in color for every cart on the market enclosed in clear page protectors, the hard acrylic sheets to hold the cartridges, and the clear pockets for holding the overlays and booklets. Miriam loves this solution because everything is together and at hand - 1 container for it all! This retails for $79.99 and holds 80 cartridges. Tammy came up with another great concept for storing the cartridges and overlays which is the flip up Plano boxes shown here. She removed every other flip up section and then placed the overlays directly behind the cartridges. She keeps the booklets in a separate snapware plastic box. I found the flip up boxes for sale HERE at Bass Pro Shops. I think the model you want is 3714, costs $14.49 and holds 16 cartridges.

  1. I own 88 cartridges and have found the best storage is a double sided tool box with 6 drawer in the center by Stanley actually the name is XL Tool Organizer. It can be found at Lowes. I have all my cartridges in alphabetical order which does have flipping room. I used plastic canvas as dividers with the name of each cartridge in the right hand corner. As for the overlays, they too are alpabetized using the plastic canvas method. The center drawers are used for the inks, blades, armour etch, brushes, markers/pens, scissors, and other needed supplies. I have my handbooks available in another box and also saved on desk top of my laptop so I don't really have to carry them at all. I have tried several methods and for the amount I own this works best and are protected by a sturdy heavyduty tool box.

  2. Do you have any info on the Crop In Style binder above? I went to the link provided, but there isn't any info there.

  3. I own nearly every cartridge and the best is my Gypsy! :) Great to see other options! TFS!

  4. Can anyone please forward info on where to purchase this storage binder? I've looked all over the net, including the link provided and haven't had any luck.

  5. I like your idea of using clip-it-up, that is how I store some of mine. The initial cartridges I have in 4 Jukeboxes.

  6. I do hope that more people decide on maximizing their living or work places to have a wider room for movement. Storage is something to think about especially if we do not have enough space at home or in our workplace but we still want to get organized.

  7. Love this - great ideas! I linked you to my blog!

  8. Can you still get the cartrige 8.5x11 print outs like shown in the first picture? If so, where can I find these?

  9. Yes, where did you get a printout like the one in the picture? I want to complete my storage and a visual page like that would be great. Nice job!

    1. I am having trouble locating where I can print those pages. Please help!

  10. Please let us know how to print out our cartridge in the 8.5 x 11. That is so much easier than the little booklets. Some of mine older ones are so thick because of the instructions. PLEASE, let us know how to do this.
