Club Scrap Retreat Pop Up Page

Do you ever have trouble figuring out exactly what you want to do with your photos from an event? I keep going around about these retreat photos - wondering should I make 12x12 pages, or an 8x8 album, or maybe a mini-book bound with the Bind It All....so many choices. My other concern was that I only had a fixed amount of the retreat paper we and it is scrumptious! So far, they haven't offered any more of it for sale on the Club Scrap website. It's got all my favorite colors (eggplant purple, deep red, green, etc.) and encompasses a musical theater theme. It's so gorgeous I don't want to cut into it just yet. Not only that, since mini-albums can use a lot of paper, I have been hesitant, worried I would run out of the paper (AACcckkk!). So, all those factors led me to the idea to make a pop up page, just to get some of the retreat scrapped. That might take some of the pressure off. ( I hope somebody out there can relate to this because in re-reading this, I sound a little crazy.)

So, I decided to make a 12x12 pop up page, just like we did at retreat. Here it is! I love how many photos I was able to fit on one 12x12 surface since the whole flap lifts to reveal more scrapping surfaces.

  1. Your pop up is so cool AND retro! I learned how to do pop ups years ago when I first started scrapbooking, but haven't thought about doin any since. Why? I don't know, but seeing your pop up reminded me to re-visit old techniques... I just might have to do a pop-up! LOL!

    Thanks for the motivation,
